Updated info for Photobooth

The program I am using for my photobooth changed is now called "Sparkbooth".

You can checkout my original post here "Photobooth Guestbook/Scrapbook for under $100." I have updated that post to reflect the change.

I am going to the wedding venue to test out some center pieces. I will post that blog when I get back from Morro Bay!

Saves the Dates

Things have been crazy. I moved again. Got a new job. Started school up again. But now that I am back I wanted to post something of substance. So I am posting about the amazing website I found and ordered my Save The Dates from!

I ordered my Saves the Dates yesterday. My FH and I

desgined them. He is pretty pho

toshop savvy. We got them on http://www.123print.com

The cool thing about that website is you can order a "sample kit" to see what their paper and materials are like. Once I got it I liked the postcard so I ordered.

I found a coupon code for 15% off. (The coupon code if you want it is couponcabin15)

150 postcards for $35.61!! $35 for postage. Total $70.61 Not bad.

PICTURES!

These are the online proofs. When I get the actual product I'll post those too!

We wanted it to look like those vintage postcards you see at touristy places. All the images are from Morro Bay/Montano De Oro.

Where's Jackki?

First I want to start by apologizing for not posting any updates.

Things have been a little rocky since moving.

My job that we moved here for didn't work out. So we have been putting wedding projects on the back burner. Which means there isn't much material for blog posts here.

It doesn't mean that I won't be posting here. It just might be a little while.

My sister/maid of honor will be visiting in a few weeks and we are going to do some projects while she is here.

In the mean time I think you should check out http://www.offbeatbride.com

This place has been amazing. I am part of the Off Beat Tribe which is a great resource for ideas and also support.

They have a cool thing going on over there.

Once I am working [hopefully soon!] I can start up on my projects again.

Sorry for the lull and I hope you don't lose interest!

Cut the bow off the spool. Using the double stick tape place a strip on the back of the bow. Place the bow on the top of the taped invite square and press firmly.

I signed the bottom of mine with Love, Jackki and Derek to add a personal touch. Now you have a simple but cute invite. You can embellish with confetti, glitter scrapbook borders pretty much what you want. This is a fun way to make invites for y our engagement party.

Wedding Cantina

Today we went to the park that we were going to have the ceremony and reception. We realized that were were a lot of tables that would not be used for dinner seating. After a little thinking I came up with a great idea. One of the tables in the corner we were going to use for the bar and beverage area.

I thought it would be cool to set up some of the tables as a "Wedding Cantina" It gives people that don't dance a little lounge area and also a fun atmosphere for the beverage area.

We are going to set up some snack bowl with pretzels and peanuts and make it look like a little cantina. Some streamers and a "Wedding Cantina" sign (that can be made from poster board) will set the mood and festive table cloths as well.

I would highly suggest a lounge type area for people that don't dance.
